[spacer height=”20px”]After a trip to visit our son and his family in England in September 2003, we went to Croatia to minister and also to visit a place called Opatija, place from my husband Andrew and his parents went to Australia. Whilst we were there the Lord began to speak to us about coming to serve him in the Balkans. By January 2004, we were almost 100% sure that we were moving to Croatia.  At that stage I was prepared to lay down my ministry and my job on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia to come and support Andrew in his vision of bringing reconciliation between the states of former Yugoslavia.
In March 2004 I attended the Hillsong “Colour your world” Conference in Sydney, Australia, and on the last night of the conference during the worship the Lord spoke very clearly into my heart that He wanted me to take the vision of Colour to the women of the Balkans. I immediately shared what the Lord had said to me with my friend Cheryl Bignell.

Andrew and I arrived in Croatia in October 2004. I gave the vision back to God. For two years I just carried the seed in my heart and prayed for the door to open.

Then in December 2006 the door opened for me to be able to organize the first conference. I gathered a team of six women to help with the organizing. We decided to call the conference “Daughter of the King”. You can read about each one in memories
