Daughters of the King is an annual women’s conference in the Balkans born from the vision of Grethe Stanley. She moved from Australia to the Balkans in 2004 supporting her husband Andrew in his vision of bringing reconciliation between the states of the former Yugoslavia. The first conference was held in Croatia, 2007 and since then it has grown far beyond anything that we could have imagined. In addition to the annual conference, where we get up to 18 different nations attending, there are also one-day mini Daughter of the King conferences held in Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia &Herzegovina and Macedonia. You can read the whole story in Grethe’s book “A Whisper from Heaven”.
