Definition of FAITH – Complete trust or confidence in someone or something
Definition of fear – An unpleasant emotional caused by the threat of danger, pain, or harm
Two words were running around in my head this morning “fear or faith”. It is sad to see how many people are living in a state of fear since Covid-19. Fear paralyses Faith.
Faith over fear doesn’t mean that you don’t feel afraid, it means that you will not let your fear consume you or your actions.
Faith over fear really just means that, despite what is going on; with God’s help we will get through this season and our trust in God will be deeper and our faith will be stronger.
Most of what we fear is simply – false evidence appearing to be real.
Psalm 56:3-4 When I am afraid, I put my trust in You Lord. In God, whose Word I praise. in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?
Isaiah 43: 1 Don’t fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine.
Psalm 18:2 The LORD is my rock , my fortress and my deliverer.

Arise and shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the Lord will arise upon you and His Glory will be seen upon you. Isaiah 60: 1-2
The meaning of arise in the Bible is “to get up or to stand up, to awaken”
Definition of cower is “crouch down in fear, cringe, shrink, recoil, pull back, tremble”
Verse two of Isaiah 60 I believe is a very good description of what is going on in our world today. There is so much darkness. Evil is everywhere, corruption is everywhere, human slavery, abortion etc. The devil has stolen so much from us. Slowly, slowly he has turned evil into good and turned good into evil, to the extent where we are no longer allowed to have a Biblical opinion.
Daughters of the King it is time to ARISE AND SHINE for the Glory of the Lord has risen upon you. Because of this epidemic many of you have become fearful and are cowering to the enemy. I want to say to you today God has not given you a spirit of fear, BUT of Power, love and a sound mind (2nd Timothy 1:7)
Once we awaken and arise, God promises that His Glory will be upon us, and He goes onto say that HIS GLORY will be seen on us. We have what the world desperately needs. People are longing for TRUTH. We carry His presence wherever we go, and we have the hope that the world desperately needs.
We need to be the voices of TRUTH amongst all the lies. We need to turn the tide.

There is no tear that your Heavenly Father has not cried with you. Psalm 56:8 (TPT) You have kept track of all my wandering and my weeping. You’ve stored my many tears in Your bottle – not one will be lost. For they are all recorded in Your book of remembrance.
There is no pain you suffer that your Heavenly Father does not suffer with you. Psalm 147:3 (TPT) He heals the wounds of every shattered heart.
There is no circumstance that your Heavenly Father will not guide you through. Isaiah 30:21 (TPT) When you turn to the right or turn to the left, you will hear His voice behind you to guide you saying, “This is the right path; follow it.”
There is no injustice done to you that your Heavenly Father will not judge on your behalf. Isaiah 54:17 (TPT) But I promise you, no weapon meant to hurt you will succeed, and you will refute every accusing word spoken against you. This promise is the inheritance of Yahweh”s servants, and their vindication is from Me says Yahweh.
There is no sin that your Heavenly Father cannot forgive. Isaiah 43:25 (TPT) I yes I, am the One and Only, who completely erases your sins, never to be seen again. I will not remember them again. freely I do this because of who I am.
There is no where for you can hide from your Heavenly Father. Psalm 139:10-11 (TPT) Wherever I go, Your hand will guide me; Your strength will empower me. It’s impossible to disappear from You or to ask the or to ask the darkness to hide, for Your presence is everywhere, bringing light into my night
Take heart today, whatever is going on in your world right now your Heavenly Father, He knows, He sees, He cares and He LOVES YOU COMPLETELY, just as you are.

The meaning of intimidation according to Cambridge Dictionary is “to frighten or threaten someone, usually in order to persuade them to do something that you want them to do.” You can see “timid” in the middle of intimidate, and to be timid is to be frightened or to pull back from something.
The meaning of encouragement is the action of giving someone support, confidence, or hope. It also means to inspire, to motivate, to invigorate, exhort, uplift, to stimulate, to endorse, to strengthen.
The creator of intimidation is the devil himself. When the Holy Spirit whispers something that He wants us to do, the enemy comes and tries to intimidate us so we back off. We have to walk in awareness of his evil schemes.
Luke 10:19 ESV Behold I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.
The Creator of Encouragement is the Holy Spirit, in fact it is one of HIS characteristics. our Heavenly Father will never ask us to do anything without equipping us and encouraging us.
Ephesians 2:10 ESV For we are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we would walk in them.
Romans 8:37 ESV No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
One thing the devil is afraid of is that we discover who we really are. the devil knows who we are, but if he can continuously intimidate us, then we will never discover who we really are, and the authority we have in the NAME OF JESUS.

Trust in the Lord, you people of Israel (that’s us so you can personalise it). He (GOD) helps you and protects you. Trust in the Lord, you priests of God (that is us). He helps you and protects you. Trust in the Lord, all you that worship Him (that’s us). He helps you and protects you.
The Lord remembers us and will bless us; He will bless the people of Israel and all the priests of God. He will bless everyone who honours Him, the great and the small alike.
Three times in the first three verses God say’s to TRUST Him; trust Him to do what?
To help us and to protect us
Three times in the next two verses God says He will bless us.
When our Father repeats something three times, it is because He really wants us to get it. Can I encourage you today to thank Him for His DIVINE PROTECTION.
putting our trust in Jesus and all that He has done for us, will cause anxiety and fear to melt away, and fill our innermost being with joy and peace.

We are living in times when it is no longer ok to be silent about what we believe.
To our shame we have allowed our voices for righteousness to be silenced by the very loud and active minority.
We have been told that we must extend grace and love in all circumstances; and that is true, but love is also speaking the truth. Someone sent me this quote by George Orwell
“In a time of deceit telling the truth is a revolutionary act.”
It is time we, the church speak out against all the evil that has permeated every sphere of society. And by the Church I mean you and I; every believer is part of the Church, (the bride of Christ).
I am challenging my self to no longer be afraid to say what I believe is the TRUTH. I am challenging myself to no longer allow myself to be intimidated to stay silent when I get an opportunity to speak the TRUTH of GODS WORD.
1 John 3:18 (ESV) Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.
Ephesians 4:25 (ESV) Therefore, having put away falsehood, let each one of you speak the truth with his neighbours, for we are members one of another.

I hear so many people say “I cant wait till things are back to normal”. “I will be ok when this is over and we are back to normal”.
I don’t think life is going to be the same when “this is over (COVID-19). This virus has not taken God by surprise, I am not saying that He caused it, but the devil or any laboratory cannot do anything without God’s permission.
Romans 8:28 (ESV) says “and we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose”.
I think God has given us, His Church, an opportunity to re-evaluate our busyness. We have been given a window of time to stop and examine what and how we use our time. (actually time is not ours its God given).
Let us not be like the Israelites complaining that they wanted to go back to Egypt because they didn’t like their circumstances. Wanting life to go back to the way it was, is looking backward. It would be a backward step I believe if once this social distancing is over that we go back to our busyness.
Question to oneself: What was I so busy doing? Was I busy about my Fathers business, or was I just busy doing my own thing?
Looking forward is re-evaluating, making changes. Surrendering our time to God, so He can use us to build His Kingdom here on earth.
It is clear in the Bible that we have a purpose Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship, creed in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
James: 1:22 But be doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your-selves.

Isaiah 6:8 ESV And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “here am I send me.”
John 14:26 But the Helper, the Holy spirit whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to to you.
In this time of living through a Pandemic called COVID-19, and being basically house bound how are you using your time? Are you still available to God or are you using your abilities to do all kinds of things that perhaps have no eternal value at all, just to fill in time.
I posted a while ago about It’s a new and living way and also about the New Wine. God is definitely doing a new thing and we need to be aware of it. We need to prepare for the New Wine. New Wine needs a new wine skin, guess what? we are the wine skin.
Lets us then use our time of isolation wisely and make ourselves available to God and give Him permission to create the New Wine skin is us. We have to first surrender the old wine skin to Him before we can be made ready for the new wine.
Question to self: What is there in my life that I have to lay down in order to receive the new? Are there things in my life that I have to surrender, ministries, habits etc. etc.
This season of isolation will pass and when it does, I want to be ready for the new. I want to be able to say “here I am Lord send, (use) me.
Prayer: Father thank you that you are doing a new thing. Thank you that you are preparing me for the New Wine. Lord reveal to me what the old is, so I can lay it down. Father thank you that you are not interested in my abilities, but you are looking for my availability and my obedience. Lord help me to be obedient and available. AMEN

Today on our Daughter of the King Global Facebook page someone had put a very short video clip that talked about preparedness. It really jumped out at me and I have been thinking about it all morning.
God is doing something new in so many areas of life and in so many different ways. As the scripture I got at the beginning of the year says; “Behold I will do a new thing, will you not be aware of it…” that is certainly happening all over the world right now with COVID-19. We are not always going to be in lock down, but what will life be like after COVID-19?
When God does something new, it is not going to look like anything we have been use to, so we will have to find a new normal again after COVID-19.
So the question we should ask ourselves today is “Grethe(insert your own name) are you prepared for the new”
Definition of unprepared: If you are unprepared for something, you are not ready for it, and you are therefore surprised or at a disadvantage when it happens.
Definition of prepared: made ready for use- ready to do or deal with something – to make ready beforehand for a specific purpose.
As God’s Ambassadors we need to learn to live prepared because we never know when our King is going to send us on an assignment. Remember though that when He sends you or asks you to do something, He will give you everything you need to fulfil the task.
A new assignment can be anything from moving to the other side of the world or simply sharing the Gospel with your neighbours, or praying and everything in between.
Ephesians 2:10 ESV For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
Our Father in Heaven has already prepared the new for us, He just needs our YES LORD here am I, send me.
Philippians 4:13 ESV I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.
Father today I pray that you would give us eyes to see, ears to hear You and a heart to obey You. Father show us if there is anything in our lives that would hinder you from filling us with New Wine. Lord we want to be ready , we want to be bold. Lord fill us today with your boldness, Your wisdom, Your courage and Your love for others we pray in Jesus Name. AMEN

Psalm 118:24 NLT This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.
If ever there was a time when we need to learn to live in the NOW; this is the time.
We can spend so much time regretting our past and worrying about tomorrow that we forget to enjoy the day we are in.
God only offers us Grace for one day at a time. We are not created to live in the past or the future, but rather we are created to enjoy TODAY. We have to TRUST God for all our tomorrows and we have to release all our regrets of yesterday to Him.
When I wake up in the morning, I like to start my day by thanking God for the day that He has made and I say to HIM. “I will rejoice and be glad in it.”
2 Corinthians 12: 9 says My Grace is sufficient for you…
We can experience peace and joy even if we are having a difficult day. We are in a very difficult season at present with COVID -19, BUT God is still the ALL SUFFICIENT ONE, He offers us wisdom, strength, peace and yes, joy, as well when we submit every moment to HIM.
John 16:33 I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart I have overcome the world.
The key to living in the NOW is stay FOCUSED on Jesus, His Grace is sufficient.
