ABIDING

ABIDING

John 15:4-5 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in ME.

A few months ago I was meditating on what it means to ABIDE IN HIM AND HE IN me!!! I asked the Lord “what does it really mean, help me to understand this scripture”. I get that a branch cannot bear fruit without the vine and I get that without Christ my life will not bear fruit, what I was really asking was for the Father to give me a picture of what it looks like to abide in HIM and He in me.

Later that day I was making myself a coffee, I have a Nespresso coffee machine and I always put the milk in first, then the coffee pours on top of the milk and then I stir it, and as I stirred the coffee (you need to use your imagination to get what I am saying) and watched the milk and the coffee blend together, I heard the LORD whisper to my heart “that is how I abide in you and you in ME; nothing can seperate us”. I thought about that and then I realised that once that coffee (HOLY SPIRIT) is poured on top of the milk (me) there is no way that I can remove the milk from the coffee or the coffee from the milk (see photo).

This morning when I woke up I sensed that I needed to share my very practical revelation with you, I pray that it will encourage you and cause you to see afresh today that once you have given your life to Jesus and accepted HIM as your Lord and Master, you ABIDE in HIM and HE ABIDES in you.

Nothing can seperate you from HIS LOVE, no matter where you go or what you do, HE is with you, there is no one that can seperate you from HIM. Romans 8:38-39 confirms that “And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’d love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow – not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below – indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in CHRIST JESUS our Lord.

What ever your situation is today, meditate on the fact that you are not alone, HE is in this situation with you; together you can face tomorrow because HE enables you. HE ABIDES in you and you abide in HIM.

STAND FIRM

STAND FIRM

There is an almighty battle going on in the spiritual realm at the moment, more fierce than we have know in the past. The enemy knows that we are on the brink of something new and he is angry, there for he is throwing as many obstacles across our path to try and prevent us from moving forward into a new day, a new season.

1 Peter 5: 8-9 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.

If you are struggling today and you feel like there is tidal wave coming against you, it is simply the enemy trying to devour you; don’t listen to him, he is liar and he is a defeated foe. STAND FIRM ON THE WORD OF GOD. one little roar form the Lion of Judah (Jesus) and the enemy runs for cover.

Listing to the devil will rob you of your joy, sap your energy and stops you from doing what God has prepared for you. We are only weeks away from the Daughter of the King Conference and I know that we are heading into a NEW DAY/NEW SEASON, the devil knows it too; pick up your sword and STAND. If you have not yet registered, do it now.

KEEP YOUR EYES ON JESUS, SIT IN HIS PRESENCE, LET HIM SEARCH YOUR HEART SO HE CAN REVEAL IF THERE IS ANYTHING IN YOUR LIFE THAT GIVES THE ENEMY PERMISSION TO HARASS YOU.

Father I pray that every person who reads this will have a fresh revelation of the schemes of the enemy and that they will know in their spirit that YOU ARE SOVEREIGN.

Hope in Christ!

Hope in Christ!

Psalm 31:24
“Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord.”

The word ‘hope’ came to me, and I thought how important it is for us to have real hope in our lives. Hope is something we need no matter where we are and what we do in life.

Hope is an anchor. Hope shows us that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Hope says, tomorrow will be a better day.

Be strong! You and I decide about this. When our hope is in the Lord, He does not disappoint. God is hope! He is our source of hope.

Hope is an expectation that what God has said He will do.
Hope keeps us in the place where God has called us to be.
Hope keeps us focused on what is most important.
When our hope is in the Lord we will say, ‘yes’ to what He asks of us.

Hope, that we will see the fruit of our work, answer to our prayers, open doors and He will make a way for us. This is the real hope we have in Christ!
When we look in our own lives, lets ask ourselves, where do we need to be strong? Where do we need to raise our hope more in the Lord? God will show us as we spend time with Him and seek His face.

There is a hope and a future with God who has many great plans for us. This is the wonderful and real hope we have in Christ!

Contentment

Contentment

This morning the Lord dropped a word into my heart, and I instantly knew that I had to put it on our blog today. the word is “Tell my daughters they will never experience contentment until they stop trying to be like someone else. I made you the way I made you and that is who you are meant to be. Trying to be like someone else or wishing you were different is an insult to Me. If you will repent and accept who you are, accept where you are you will experience contentment. Have I not said to you I will always provide for you, have I not said I will never leave you or forsake you. I delight in you and when you delight in ME and delight in who you are, it will be well with your soul. Trust ME.”

Psalm 139:14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful, I know that full well. If this word has spoken to you, then meditate on the above verse and keep on meditating until you actually believe it and then you shall be content and you can utter the words of the well known Hymn “it is well with my soul”.
I am praying for you to have a revelation of your true beauty in Christ.
Love always

It’s time to ATTACK

It’s time to ATTACK

For a while now I have found myself saying these words “the enemy is defeated, God knows it, I know it and satan knows it” I would say this when I was praying into different situation, my family, DOK etc. Then the other morning when I was sitting on my verandah having a cup of coffee and just looking at the trees enjoying my Heavenly Father’s company, I felt like He said to me, this is what you need to tell my daughters “THE ENEMY IS DEFEATED, I (GOD) KNOWS IT, I (you) KNOW IT, and satan knows it”, as I pondered this I realised that when we talk about demonic stuff happening in our lives we refer to it as being under attack, if we are under attack then we need to defend ourselves, but if satan is a defeated foe, then we do not need to defend ourselves, we need to attack him!!!!! how do we attack him, by DECLARING GODS WORD, satan has to flee when we quote God’s Word.

Ephesians 6:10-18 talks about the Amour of God. I want to draw your attention to verse 10 and 11 “Finally be strong in the Lord an in His mighty power. Put on the full armour of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.” note it does not say “put on the armour of God, so that you can defend yourself” NO it says ” TAKE YOUR STAND“.

satan can only attack you if you give him permission, he rely’s on you being defensive instead of standing on the truth of God’s Word.

Can I encourage you today dear Daughter of the king to TAKE YOUR STAND; tell the devil “YOUR ARE A DEFEATED FOE, MY GOD KNOWS IT, I KNOW IT AND YOU KNOW IT”.

God is working in us

God is working in us

Just think for a moment.

GOD is on your side. God is your help and He is with you. If we really want to believe  and realise these truths, then we can leave the lies that we often carry with us, and because of it in our hearts wefeel heaviness and worry.

It’s so easy to over exaggerate how it is for others and to lessen how God’s promises are wonderful!   In life we will have situations when people will be by our sides, and when they will  be far from us, and when there will be joy and sadness.

Have we allowed someone to offend or hurt us in a way that we have forgotten God, who is for us?

Today where is our focus?

Focus on God who is on our side, He fights for us, and He is working in us. When we look to God, who is for us, we will find new grace in life.

When we pray for needs, look to God who is powerful and mighty in everything! He has the solution, we need to ask God to show us and walk together with Him rejoice.

The Daughters of the King conference will be in April, just three months to go! We need to put our focus on God and let Him work in us, so He can do something new, great and victorious through us. Let God lead us into what He has in store. It will be new, fresh and powerful!

God is working in us! Think how great is the truth in  this verse…

“For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfil his good purpose.”  Philippians 2:13
